Some problem with the link. The doc keep resetting the download.

Anyway...........

......Mr Wang, if you ever feel a need to...... you know...... go for a short "holiday"...... I recommend Thailand.

Heard it is cheap, fun and, well, under a new management that may not look be too sympathetic to certain requests and people from Singapore.

My next suggestion is Cayman Island.

You will feel right at home with all the Indonesians there.

I find this hilarious.

Page 9 of Writ of Summons for libel suit:

"16. In addition, the phrase "How many libel suits have Singapore's great and good wrongly won, covering up real misdeeds?" was repeated and given special prominence in a box in the Article."

Irony, thou art dead.

They even helpfully include an extensive list of defamation suits won by the plaintiff!

If the Lees have the balls, settle this in an International Court.

I have no respect whatsover for the Lees and their collective behaviour as litigious bastards. 'Defend the reputation of Singapore leaders' my fat arse!

Come to think of it, their reputations are probably not worth much anyway in the first place - which explains why they need to compensate this inadequacy with money won from lawsuits.

Hmm...

It seems to me accroding to para 22.c., anyone critising the Singapore Government or any of the statutory boards are libel as long as LKY is alive.

Hi Mr Wang,

The notes are actually on page 15 to 17 of the article. Quite a few blogs are mentioned.

Despot and Dictator LKY, enough said.

Anonymous said...

Did you guys noticed that LKY NRIC is S0000003E?

Who is S0000001 and 2?

Anonymous said...

Sang Nila Utama and Sir Stamford Raffles.

Nah, on hindsight, it may just be superstition - he wants to live forever.

Lau Min-tsek: go for a short "holiday"

Heard that Canada is also good. Nair won a counter-suit forcing Harry to drop the original suit.

Lau Min-tsek said...

Nair beat a lawsuit from Canada?

That's news for me!! Anyone with more info?

Hmmm..... Canadian law.....

Reminds me of this article:

http://www.yawningbread.org/arch_2006/yax-588.htm

And would the current FEER suit have any effect on the Canadian decision?

Anyway, I finally downloaded the doc.

I thought Mr Wang was one of the blogs mentioned in the doc...... hehe...... but since his blog was not mentioned, is Mr Wang losing "Street Cred"?

For Lau Min-tsek:

I also just found out by chance from sammyboy's coffeeshop's discussion on "FEER Law Suit Question" and whether Lee ever lost a suit.

/messages?msg=120479.50

The 140th do not publish such news or tries to delay publishing such news (remember Enernorth?) or hide such news in some obscure corner.

Has our 140th written any critical analysis abt the estimated billion$ on-paper loss by Temasek from Shin-Corp yet? Is (non-)Elected President doing anything to check if Singapore's coffers are being emptied by repeated bad judgements?

Mr Wang Says So said...

Heheh. Actually, Min, I never reproduced the FEER article on my blog, so there is no reason for LKY to mention my blog.

And the reason I never reproduced the FEER artilce on my blog is ______.

You go and guess, lor.
